The purpose of this website is to provide:

1. A primary website for the Urantia Book Study Groups of Southwest Florida.

2. Sources of other books or materials that support or discuss the UB, including the history of the papers and topics that further continue discussion of the UB and its papers;

3. Historical connections between the UB, the Bible, and today's research;

4. Access to images related to the UB and videos whose creation was inspired by the UB;

5. Links to subjects on the periphery of UB topics, such as exploration of other physical energy systems or laws that are on the edge of science today;

6. Information on what has happened after the publication of the UB in 1955, with links to the "Correcting Time" and the "Teaching Mission."

7. Links to other topics and websites that relate to our reading and study of The Urantia Book, including purchasing or downloading the UB, downloading or listening to MP3 files of the entire book.

Opening Prayer by Raymon Miller

Heavenly Father,

We are gathered here today in your name to request and seek answers through our inquiring minds and the Spirit of Truth, through the manifestations of Truth, Beauty, Goodness, and Love.

We thank you for life, your love and faithfulness, and the opportunity for our universe adventure in faith with you toward perfection.

We sincerely ask that you help us expand our awareness and increase our capacity of mind and understanding so that we may hear your inner spirit leadings more clearly and so that we may help our siblings find you to improve ourselves and this earth.

We also ask that our Father fragments work together to assist this group to guide us to use our will to do your will.

We thank you with our love and gratitude.

Acknowledgments

This is where I acknowledge all those who have made this website, and the time to allow me to undertake the work that is included herein. Obviously, my sweetheart and life partner, Lt. Col. Michele Turns, RN (retired), Elisabeth Callahan of Urantia University Institute, and all of the staff who have allowed me to have such fun exploring The Urantia Book. I thank all my classmates of the UUI-Teacher Education Program who have helped push me forward, with a salute to Jay Han, Joy Brandt, Jeanette Francis, and Daniels Hussaini. There can be no last persons to name as more crop up as I go along. But I do want to thank those of Unity of Fort Myers who joined our little study group in 2010, and got this whole thing rolling.
